Pricing
One licence, priced on your active members
£1.50 per active member a month, never less than £75, and no setup fee. Every feature and every group are included, however many groups you run, and your first 30 days are free.
How the licence works
- £75 a month minimum, which covers up to 50 active members.
- £1.50 per active member a month as your network grows, and £1.25 for each member beyond 1,000.
- An active member is counted once, however many groups they are in. Visitors and lapsed members are free.
- Every feature and every group, for everyone. Your members’ fees never come near us.
| Active members | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 50 | £75 | £900 |
| 100 | £150 | £1,800 |
| 250 | £375 | £4,500 |
| 1,000 | £1,500 | £18,000 |
| 2,000 | £2,750 | £33,000 |
For a network of 1,000 members the licence is £1.50 each a month. If your members pay £50 a month, that is 3% of what you collect.
What it costs
- £1.50 per active member a month, counted across your whole organisation.
- A minimum of 50 members, so the least anyone pays is £75 a month.
- £1.25 for each member beyond 1,000, so a bigger network pays less a head.
- More than 2,000 members is a volume rate, agreed in a conversation rather than on a slider.
- Paying annually is twelve months at the same rate. We would rather price it fairly than dress a discount up as one.
All prices exclude VAT. A 200 member organisation pays £300 a month, or £3,600 a year. A 1,000 member network pays £1,500 a month.
What counts as an active member
Somebody holding an active membership, counted once however many of your groups they belong to. Visitors do not count. People you have invited who have not joined yet do not count. Members who have lapsed do not count. If somebody leaves in March, you stop paying for them in March.
We count every hour and tell Stripe, so the amount follows your membership as it changes, worked out pro rata. Nobody has to remember to move between plan sizes, because there are none.
There is no setup fee
You set your organisation up yourself, with Barry doing the typing: your groups, your branding, your meetings and your member list, in minutes rather than an afternoon. That is part of the licence, it is how almost everyone starts, and there is nothing extra to pay at checkout or afterwards.
The only time setting up costs anything is when you ask us to do it for you, which is a job in itself for a bigger network. We quote it before any of it starts and invoice it separately, so nobody is ever surprised by a fee.
| Who sets it up | Cost | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| You set it up | Included | Barry does it with you in minutes: your groups, your branding, your members invited. This is how almost everyone starts. |
| We set it up, several groups | £1,000 to £2,500 | Only if you ask us. Each group set up, members moved across from your spreadsheets, and your team trained. |
| We set it up, a large network | £5,000 to £15,000 or more | Only if you ask us. Regions and their managers, moving from your current system, and a named contact. |
So a single network pays the licence at checkout and nothing else. Moving several groups across from spreadsheets, or a large network from another system, is work we quote and invoice separately.
Your first month free
The first 30 days cost nothing. You give your card details when you start, so there is nothing to set up later, but nothing is taken until day 31. We email you 3 days before the first payment, with the amount and the date. Cancel before then and you pay nothing at all. This is for monthly and annual licences alike, once for each organisation.
A month is long enough to set up every group with Barry, invite your members and run a meeting or two, so you decide with your own organisation in front of you. It is in our terms.
What is included
Everything. There is no feature held back for a bigger plan, because there is no bigger plan: the member app in your own name and colours, with your own icon on members’ phones, which members use in their browser with nothing to download, unlimited groups, the visitor funnel, referrals and one to ones, renewals, the group chat, your team and their roles, regions, your own web address for the member app, exports of everything, and Barry to set it up with you.
We never take a percentage of your members’ fees, and we never handle them. Your members pay you, by whatever means you already use, and you record it. Your data explains how that side works.
White label, if you want it
Your members already see your name, logo and colours. For organisations that want nothing else in view, white label is an add-on: emails from your own domain, the assistant in your app under a name you choose, and our name kept out of your members’ way except where the law needs it. It is £150 a month, or £1,800 a year with an annual licence, plus £250 once to set up, all plus VAT. Add or remove it on the Billing page; the setup fee is refunded if you remove it within 7 days.
Scorecards, at half price
Scorecards and surveys from InsightSquirrel, from the same team, work inside NetworkingBadger: on your visitors’ pages and in your member app, in your own colours, with a visitor’s result arriving with their record. With a licence, any InsightSquirrel plan is half the regular price for as long as you keep it, from £7.50 a month including VAT. InsightSquirrel bills it, not us. The scorecards page has the plans.
Tickets for paid meetings
For meetings people pay to come to, TicketOtter, from the same team, sells the tickets for 40p plus VAT a ticket, with the money going straight to your own Stripe. Put the event’s link on the meeting and members get a Book on TicketOtter button; making the event from the meeting in one click, with the buyers coming back to it, is being switched on now. Paid events explains it. Any other ticketing works too, with a link on the meeting.
What we do not do
- No charge per group. Run one group or fifty for the same price a member.
- No charge for organisers, admins or region managers.
- No commission on membership fees, joining fees or visitor fees.
- No long contract. Cancel whenever you like and the licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
- No charge in the first month, and an email before the first payment, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Questions people ask before buying
Do you collect our membership fees?
No. Your members pay you exactly as they do now. We keep track of who is on which plan, what each of them pays, when it renews and whether it has been paid, and we send the reminders. The money never comes near us and we never take a percentage of it.
We run four groups on different days. Is that extra?
No. Your licence is based on your active members across the whole organisation, not on how many groups you split them into. Run one group or a dozen: the same members cost the same.
What counts as an active member?
Someone holding an active membership of your organisation, counted once however many of your groups they belong to. Visitors, people you have invited who have not joined yet, and lapsed members do not count. The licence is £1.50 per active member a month, never less than £75 (50 members), and £1.25 for each member beyond 1,000.
Is there a setup fee?
No. You set your organisation up yourself, with Barry doing most of the typing, and you pay only the licence at checkout. We charge for setting up only where we do the work: £1,000 to £2,500 for several groups moved across from spreadsheets, £5,000 to £15,000 or more for a large multi-region network. That is quoted before anything starts, and invoiced separately.
Can our members see only our name, not yours?
They already see your name, logo and colours, at your own web address if you like. White label goes further, as an add-on to the licence: emails come from your own domain, such as members@yournetwork.co.uk, the assistant in the app goes by a name you choose, and our name is kept out of your members’ way except where the law needs us named. It is £150 a month, or £1,800 a year with an annual licence, plus £250 once to set up, all plus VAT, and you can add or remove it on the Billing page.
What if it turns out not to suit us?
Cancel in your first month and you pay nothing: the first 30 days are free. You give your card details when you start, and we email you 3 days before the first payment, so it never comes as a surprise. Export your data from the Billing page first and it is yours to keep.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: your first month is free, on monthly and annual licences alike. You give your card details when you start, nothing is taken for 30 days, and we email you 3 days before the first payment with the amount and the date. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. There is no long contract either: after that, leave whenever you like, and your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
Is there a contract?
No long contract. Pay monthly or annually and cancel whenever you like; your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel within 7 days of your first annual payment, we refund it in full.
We already sell tickets for our bigger events somewhere else.
Carry on. Add your ticket link to any meeting and members will see a button that takes them there. Nothing in NetworkingBadger depends on where you sell tickets. If you are looking for somewhere new, TicketOtter, from our team, charges just 40p + VAT per ticket, with no percentage fees and no subscription.
