Paid events, by TicketOtter
Selling tickets for your networking events
Some meetings are free for members. Breakfasts with a speaker, socials and open events often are not. TicketOtter, from the team behind NetworkingBadger, sells the tickets for 40p plus VAT a ticket, and works hand in hand with your meetings here.
What it costs
40p plus VAT a ticket. No subscription, and no percentage of the ticket price. The money goes straight to your own Stripe account, and we never touch it: NetworkingBadger does not collect fees of any kind, for tickets or for membership.
How it works with NetworkingBadger today
- Make the event on TicketOtter, and paste its link into the meeting’s External ticket link.
- Members get a Book on TicketOtter button on the meeting, in the member app.
- Coming next, and being switched on with TicketOtter now: connect your TicketOtter account once, make the event from the meeting in one click, and have the buyers come back to the meeting, booked if they are in the group.
What about the people who buy?
Until the connection is switched on, their details stay in TicketOtter. Once it is, their names and email addresses are seen by your team, never by your members. Buying a ticket is not agreeing to anything else, so we send ticket buyers nothing: TicketOtter sends their ticket, and what they agreed to there stays there. Someone who registers as a visitor themselves makes their own choices, as every visitor does. The data page explains how we look after people’s details.
Do I have to use it?
No. Everything in NetworkingBadger works without it, and any meeting can carry a link to tickets sold anywhere else. TicketOtter simply offers the best value.
