Deleting your account
Last updated Fri 9 Oct 2026
You can delete your NetworkingBadger account whenever you like, yourself in the app or on the website, or by emailing us. This page explains how, and what happens to your information.
NetworkingBadger is a brand of CleverOwl Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16973711. VAT no. GB519492465. Registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE.
If you are a member
- Open the NetworkingBadger app, or your group’s page on the website, and sign in.
- Tap Settings at the top of the screen.
- Scroll to Delete my account, type DELETE, and tap the button.
Your account is deleted straight away, in every group and organisation you belong to, and you are signed out. If you would like a copy of your information first, choose Download my data on the same page.
If you run a networking organisation
- Sign in to the NetworkingBadger app or the website as an organiser.
- Open Account, scroll to Delete my account, type DELETE, and confirm.
If you help run an organisation as an admin or a manager, you simply leave it, and it carries on. If you are its owner, deleting your account also closes the organisation, because every organisation needs an owner: its subscription stops, and it is deleted straight away with its members, meetings and records. The page names each organisation that would close and asks you to confirm it. If the organisation should carry on, hand ownership to someone else first, on the Team page of the website.
An owner who would rather keep the organisation for a while can cancel the subscription from Billing instead: we then keep everything for 90 days, in case you come back, before deleting it. The details are in our cancellation and refunds page.
Asking us by email
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email hello@networkingbadger.com from the address you use for NetworkingBadger, with the subject “Delete my account”. We reply asap, check it is you, then delete your account and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number, photo, profile and sign in details, including Apple or Google sign in.
- Your messages and help requests, your notes on introductions and your descriptions of referrals you gave.
- Your push notification addresses, so nothing more is sent to your devices.
What is kept
- Referrals, one to ones and meeting bookings you were part of stay in other members’ history as “Former member”, with nothing that identifies you, so their numbers still add up.
- Membership payments your organiser recorded, without your name, for as long as your organisation keeps its records.
- For organisations: invoices and payment records for our subscription, for six years, as UK tax law requires. They are held by our payment provider, Stripe.
More detail is in our privacy policy.
