Who it is for
Service clubs
Clubs that meet every week or fortnight, do good in their community, and depend on a steady flow of new members to keep going. Most still run on a paper register, a treasurer's spreadsheet and the secretary's memory. This is what NetworkingBadger can take off their hands, and what it cannot.
What fits
- Meetings and attendance. The weekly or fortnightly meeting set once, reminders at the times you choose, apologies, and an attendance record built up over the year rather than on a sheet of paper.
- Guests, and the next generation of members. Members share a link, guests register themselves, and there is a list to follow up after every meeting, with credit to whoever brought them. Clubs that are shrinking are almost always short of guests, and this is the part that helps most.
- Subscriptions without the chasing. Who has paid and who has not, annual, quarterly or monthly, with reminders before each renewal. Members pay the club the way they always have.
- Several clubs in one view. Clubs in a district or area as groups, each run by its own officers, with one view across all of them for whoever looks after the area.
- Members who know each other. A private directory, a club chat, and a way to ask the club for help, in an app with the club name and colours on it.
What it does not do
- It does not track fundraising or service hours. Money raised, projects and volunteering time are not recorded. If your club reports those, keep doing it the way you do.
- It does not take payments. Not subscriptions, not meal money, not donations. It records what members have paid you.
- It is priced per member. £1.50 a member a month, never less than £75 a month. That suits a district running several clubs together far better than a single small club, and for a club on modest subscriptions it may simply cost too much. We would rather say so than sell you something that does not add up.
Where it works best
A district or area that wants every club on the same footing, with one view of membership and guests across all of them, or a larger club where the secretary and membership officer are tired of doing it by hand. The pricing page shows the exact cost, and you can tell us about your clubs for a straight answer on whether it fits.
