# NetworkingBadger > NetworkingBadger is membership and visitor software for UK business networking organisations: a private, branded member app for every group that members use in their browser with nothing to download, a visitor funnel that turns guests into members, and membership renewals tracked and chased for you. One licence, priced on your active members, with every feature and every group included. NetworkingBadger is made in the UK for business networking organisations: breakfast clubs, chapters and networks that run regular meetings for members and invite visitors. It also fits organisations shaped the same way: peer advisory boards and mastermind groups, group coaching programmes, industry peer groups, women in business networks, and, with some gaps, smaller chambers of commerce and service clubs. It does not suit organisations that want members' fees collected for them, free or very low fee memberships, or a public event ticketing site of its own (paid meetings sell tickets through TicketOtter instead). It is run by CleverOwl Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16973711). ## What it does - A private member app for every group, in the organisation's own name, logo and colour. Members use it in any web browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download or install. Adding it to a phone's home screen, where it carries an icon and name the organisation designs (its logo or a photo, initials or a symbol, on its colour), or using the free NetworkingBadger app from the app stores, is optional. Members see the directory, meetings, introductions, referrals and help requests. - A visitor funnel: members share a personal invitation link; visitors register in under a minute, choose what they are happy to receive, and are followed up after the meeting. The member who invited a visitor keeps the credit when they join, however long it takes. - Membership tracking: monthly, quarterly and annual plans, renewals and reminders. Organisations record the fees their members pay them; NetworkingBadger never collects or processes members' fees. - Meetings and bookings with capacity, waiting lists, reminders and attendance. - Referrals and one to ones, recorded and reported. - Several groups per organisation, with regions and a network overview, for every network. - Data stored in London, with visitor consent recorded and checked before anything is sent. - Scorecards and surveys from InsightSquirrel (a sister product from the same team): organisations connect InsightSquirrel scorecards to show visitors on their visit page and members in the app, in their own colours, and a visitor's result comes back to their record. Any InsightSquirrel plan is half the regular price for an organisation with a NetworkingBadger licence, for as long as it keeps that subscription (Spark £7.50, Grow £22.50, Scale £49.50 a month including VAT); InsightSquirrel bills it. Sending results back needs Grow or Scale. - Paid events through TicketOtter (a sister product from the same team), for 40p plus VAT a ticket, with the money going to the organisation's own Stripe. Put the event’s link on the meeting and members get a Book on TicketOtter button; making the event from the meeting in one click, with the buyers coming back to it, is being switched on now. NetworkingBadger never handles ticket money. Optional: any other ticket link works too. ## Pricing One licence priced on active members across the whole organisation, never per group: £1.50 per active member a month, for at least 50 members (so never less than £75 a month), and £1.25 for each member beyond 1,000. The annual licence is twelve months. More than 2,000 active members: a volume rate by conversation. Every feature and every group for every network. The first 30 days are free, on monthly and annual licences alike, once per organisation: card details are taken when the licence starts, nothing is paid until the free month ends, and an email goes 3 days before the first payment with the amount and the date. Cancelling in the free month costs nothing. There is no setup fee: an organisation sets itself up with Barry, the AI assistant, and pays only the licence. Setting up is charged only where NetworkingBadger does the work, quoted before it starts and invoiced separately: several groups £1,000 to £2,500, a large multi-region network £5,000 to £15,000 and up. White label is an optional add-on: emails from the organisation's own domain, the in-app assistant under its own name, and NetworkingBadger's name kept out of members' way except where the law needs it, for £150 a month (or £1,800 a year with an annual licence) plus £250 once to set up. - Up to 50 active members: £75 a month, £900 a year, plus VAT - 100 active members: £150 a month, £1,800 a year, plus VAT - 250 active members: £375 a month, £4,500 a year, plus VAT - 1,000 active members: £1,500 a month, £18,000 a year, plus VAT - 2,000 active members: £2,750 a month, £33,000 a year, plus VAT ## Questions ### Do you collect our membership fees? No. Your members pay you exactly as they do now. We keep track of who is on which plan, what each of them pays, when it renews and whether it has been paid, and we send the reminders. The money never comes near us and we never take a percentage of it. ### We run four groups on different days. Is that extra? No. Your licence is based on your active members across the whole organisation, not on how many groups you split them into. Run one group or a dozen: the same members cost the same. ### Do members have to download an app? No. Members use it in the browser they already have, on a phone or a computer: they open the link, sign in, and they are in, with nothing to download. If someone would like an app anyway, the free NetworkingBadger app is on the App Store or Google Play: they sign in with the email address you invited them with, and it opens as your group’s app, in your name and colours. It is entirely their choice. ### Do visitors need an account? No. A visitor follows the link a member shares, registers in a minute, and confirms their email address. They choose what they are happy for you to do with their details, and can change their mind from their own visit page. ### Can members message each other? Each group has its own group chat, which its organisers look after and can remove posts from. Private conversations are different, and deliberately so: one opens when an introduction has been accepted by both people, or when someone replies to a request for help. Your membership never becomes a list for someone to pitch to. ### What counts as an active member? Someone holding an active membership of your organisation, counted once however many of your groups they belong to. Visitors, people you have invited who have not joined yet, and lapsed members do not count. The licence is £1.50 per active member a month, never less than £75 (50 members), and £1.25 for each member beyond 1,000. ### Is there a setup fee? No. You set your organisation up yourself, with Barry doing most of the typing, and you pay only the licence at checkout. We charge for setting up only where we do the work: £1,000 to £2,500 for several groups moved across from spreadsheets, £5,000 to £15,000 or more for a large multi-region network. That is quoted before anything starts, and invoiced separately. ### Can our members see only our name, not yours? They already see your name, logo and colours, at your own web address if you like. White label goes further, as an add-on to the licence: emails come from your own domain, such as members@yournetwork.co.uk, the assistant in the app goes by a name you choose, and our name is kept out of your members’ way except where the law needs us named. It is £150 a month, or £1,800 a year with an annual licence, plus £250 once to set up, all plus VAT, and you can add or remove it on the Billing page. ### What if it turns out not to suit us? Cancel in your first month and you pay nothing: the first 30 days are free. You give your card details when you start, and we email you 3 days before the first payment, so it never comes as a surprise. Export your data from the Billing page first and it is yours to keep. ### Is there a free trial? Yes: your first month is free, on monthly and annual licences alike. You give your card details when you start, nothing is taken for 30 days, and we email you 3 days before the first payment with the amount and the date. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. There is no long contract either: after that, leave whenever you like, and your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for. ### Is there a contract? No long contract. Pay monthly or annually and cancel whenever you like; your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel within 7 days of your first annual payment, we refund it in full. ### Is it GDPR compliant, and where is our data kept? Your data is stored in London. Your organisation stays in control of your members’ and visitors’ information and we look after it for you under our data processing terms. Visitors give their consent in plain English before anything is sent to them, and it is checked every time. ### What happens to our data if we leave? It is yours. Export your members and payment records at any time, in a spreadsheet you can open. After you cancel we keep everything for 90 days in case you come back, then delete it. ### We already sell tickets for our bigger events somewhere else. Carry on. Add your ticket link to any meeting and members will see a button that takes them there. Nothing in NetworkingBadger depends on where you sell tickets. If you are looking for somewhere new, TicketOtter, from our team, charges just 40p + VAT per ticket, with no percentage fees and no subscription. ### How long does it take to get going? About fifteen minutes. Tell Barry, our setup badger, about your group, upload or paste the member list you already keep, and your members’ invitations go out as soon as you have checked everything. Anything else can wait until it suits you. ### Do I have to set everything up myself? No. Barry, our setup badger, is an AI assistant built into NetworkingBadger. Tell him about your groups, meetings, plans and prices in plain English, upload your member spreadsheet or paste the list into the chat, and he builds your setup for you. You check it all on one page before anything goes live. He never sees your members’ names, email addresses or phone numbers. If you would rather use the forms, everything works without him too. ## Links - [Home](https://networkingbadger.com/): what NetworkingBadger does, how it works, pricing and questions - [Get started](https://networkingbadger.com/organiser/sign-up) - [Live demo](https://networkingbadger.com/demo): a made up organisation anybody can look round with no sign up, read only - [Contact](https://networkingbadger.com/contact): hello@networkingbadger.com - [Pricing](https://networkingbadger.com/pricing): What the licence costs, what setting up costs, and what is included. - [Spreadsheets, event sites and membership software](https://networkingbadger.com/compare): What each kind of tool does well, and where it leaves a networking organisation short. - [Your data and how we look after it](https://networkingbadger.com/security): Where your members’ data is kept, who can see it, and what happens if you leave. - [Scorecards, by InsightSquirrel](https://networkingbadger.com/scorecards): Short scorecards and surveys for visitors and members, inside NetworkingBadger, half price with a licence. - [Paid events, by TicketOtter](https://networkingbadger.com/paid-events): Sell tickets for paid meetings through TicketOtter, from the same team, for 40p plus VAT a ticket. - [Glossary](https://networkingbadger.com/glossary): The words we use, and exactly what each one counts. - [Who it is for](https://networkingbadger.com/for): Every kind of organisation NetworkingBadger fits, and the ones it does not. - [Weekly referral groups](https://networkingbadger.com/for/referral-groups): One seat per trade, visitor days, referrals and one to ones, run without a spreadsheet. - [Breakfast clubs](https://networkingbadger.com/for/breakfast-clubs): Who is coming on Tuesday, who brought a guest, and who has paid. - [Networks with several groups](https://networkingbadger.com/for/networks): Every group in one picture, with organisers who see only their own. - [Peer advisory boards and mastermind groups](https://networkingbadger.com/for/peer-advisory-boards): Small, confidential boards of business owners who meet every month. - [Group coaching programmes](https://networkingbadger.com/for/coaching-programmes): Every cohort in one place, with clients who help each other between sessions. - [Industry peer groups](https://networkingbadger.com/for/industry-peer-groups): Non-competing firms in the same trade, meeting to share what works. - [Women in business networks](https://networkingbadger.com/for/women-in-business): Local groups, one network, and a membership that feels like a community. - [Chambers of commerce](https://networkingbadger.com/for/chambers-of-commerce): Local sections, a member directory and visitors followed up, for smaller chambers. - [Service clubs](https://networkingbadger.com/for/service-clubs): Weekly meetings, guests and several clubs in a district, without the paper register. - [How to run a business networking group](https://networkingbadger.com/guides/run-a-networking-group): The meeting, the members, the money and the admin, from someone who has watched a lot of groups. - [How to get visitors to your networking group](https://networkingbadger.com/guides/get-visitors): Where visitors actually come from, and how to make it easy for members to bring them. - [How to set membership fees](https://networkingbadger.com/guides/membership-fees): What to charge, how often to charge it, and how to collect it without chasing. - [How to stop members lapsing](https://networkingbadger.com/guides/stop-members-lapsing): Why members leave, the signs that come first, and what to do about each one. - [Terms of service](https://networkingbadger.com/legal/terms) - [Privacy policy](https://networkingbadger.com/legal/privacy) - [Cancellation and refunds](https://networkingbadger.com/legal/cancellation) - [Data processing terms](https://networkingbadger.com/legal/processing) - [Deleting your account](https://networkingbadger.com/legal/delete-account)
